JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF. JPG and PNG go into the PDF at their original quality; WebP and GIF are converted first, since the PDF format itself can't hold them.

What does "Fit the image" page size do?

It makes every page exactly the shape of the image on it, so there is no white space at the edges. Use A4 or US Letter instead when the result is going to be printed.
